Narda 8532 Gaussmeter

The Narda Model 8532-60 Gaussmeter measures Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) and Very Low Frequency (VLF) magnetic fields. Ideal for usage in industrial hygiene and safety applications, this portable instrument accurately quantifies the strength of the overall magnetic field at a particular location, and can also be used to determine the contributions of the various energy sources that may be contributing to the total field level.

Features easy operation, lightweight design (one pound) and LCD display with low battery indicator. Probe is sealed against the elements and contains a high-grade, filtered induction coil sensor making it immune to errors caused by sensor movement within the earth's magnetic field.

An accessory cable supplied for either recorder or video output. Recorder output can be used to drive a strip chart recorder for long-term studies. Video output allows connection to an oscilloscope to view the signal waveform or to a spectrum analyzer to determine the frequency content of the signal.
